Jo went in for carpal tunnel surgery the day before yesterday. It went very well. The anesthatist took the time and trouble to research which anaesthetics worked well for Jo and used them. Jo came out of surgery with flying colours. The numbness in her middle fingers is gone already. She's tentatively booked in for the other hand being done in a few weeks.

Meanwhile, I've been close to tears with stress most of the time. I'm caring for all the kids, preparing all the meals, doing baths and bedtimes etc. And yesterday I was stupid enough to accept relief teaching as well. I was just exhausted. I'm not taking anymore work for the next few weeks.
